Paper bag waist shorts are high-waisted shorts that have a crinkled or folded waistband, one that looks a bit like a paper bag. These are some of my favorite to wear because the belted high waist accentuates the smallest part of me at the waist and the wide leg creates a flattering, roomy shape. Here, I substitute a fanny pack for the belt that normally comes with the shorts. You can keep it casual with flat sandals or dress the look up with platforms or heels and a blazer.
