As summer turns to fall and the weather in the Midwest yo-yos up and down (today a visit to the Arctic, tomorrow the surface of the sun), I start getting creative with layers.

A shirtdress can act like a light coat or duster over a tank top and shorts/pants, Or, it can be buttoned up and worn as a dress with tennis shoes or sandals.

As fall turns to winter you can add tights and boots and keep on wearing your shirtdress.
